Devin Burnam is a Brooklyn-based playwright, screenwriter, actor and filmmaker. He has worked extensively as a collaborative performer with Sister Sylvester Presents on some really innovative new plays including The Box Man (SITI Studios; The Trailer Park; traveling); Play America: Life is Short, Wear Your Party Pants (NYTW 4th St. Theatre; St. Cecilia’s); Look Back In (Dixon Place; Grace Space); The Screens (Salem Art Works; Riverside).
Independent works include By the Time Kurt Cobain Was Your Age, He Was Dead at Dixon Place, which he wrote and performed. The Carnival at the Funeral (The Brick, Hell Festival), and a workshop production of Suicide Sundays at Producer’s Club.
Screenplays include Objects of Desire, The Ghost of Peacock Jones, and Third Man Through the Door. He is also in preproduction for his short film Death by Chocolate which he wrote and is directing.
